The Library

These photos are all from my recent trip to Portsmouth, VA and Washington D.C. We were there for a family reunion. The scenery there was lovely and old and it was really cool for me, since I'm a West coaster and am not used to there being cool old stuff just everywhere. It was also ridiculously hot and I don't intend to ever, ever live there. But it's nice to visit and take pictures of. Most of the photos are unedited, because I have Photoshop now but I'm lazy, there are a ton, and I don't really know how to use Photoshop except for the very very basic stuff.

The Portsmouth Public Library, like almost every other building there, was old and fancy looking. As many libraries are built to be. I was impressed with this, though, because it really was as old as it looked and it had been converted into a modern use.
