Alternative usage

These photos are all from my recent trip to Portsmouth, VA and Washington D.C. We were there for a family reunion. The scenery there was lovely and old and it was really cool for me, since I'm a West coaster and am not used to there being cool old stuff just everywhere. It was also ridiculously hot and I don't intend to ever, ever live there. But it's nice to visit and take pictures of. Most of the photos are unedited, because I have Photoshop now but I'm lazy, there are a ton, and I don't really know how to use Photoshop except for the very very basic stuff.

In the reflecting pool, there are a few little islands of stone peeking above the water. I don't know what they mean or what their real purpose is, but when I was there, one of them was being used by like ten tiny little ducklings to stand together on. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa'w.
